BAG END Loudspeaker Systems is helping provide sound reinforcement for a series of trade shows that showcase emerging technologies in the broadcast and presentation industries. The show series, called, “CONVERGENCE,” is sponsored and managed by The Whitlock Group’s broadcast and presentation solutions division.

CONVERGENCE is a progressive product showcase of the emerging technologies in the broadcast and presentation industries. More than 50 product manufacturers exhibit at the shows, previewing the newest products on the market and giving attendees a chance to experiment with the technologies first hand.

"CONVERGENCE is the perfect technical resource for information gathering and hands-on experimentation with the hottest broadcast and presentation products available on the market,” said Ellen Hickson, Director of Marketing for The Whitlock Group. “With the resurgence of interest for companies to be able to communicate more effectively and more interactively with their customers and business associates, it’s important for consumers to understand technology trends and utilize their applications.

BAG END Loudspeaker Systems, working through its national network of manufacturer representatives, is supplying the sound systems to the regional shows. Several CONERGENCE shows last year saw record attendance. The rising popularity of the shows is attributed by Hickson to the shows’ expanded product venue and increased vendor participation displaying a new generation of organizations sourcing new technology and implementing integrated audio/visual, presentation and video systems.
